Donating Materials
PCCR accepts donations of materials from all types of businesses and organizations, as well as individuals, in the greater Pittsburgh area - ranging from manufacturers, to retail stores, radio stations, hotels, offices, grocery stores, and universities.
First-time and larger donations should be pre-approved. Call, email or visit during our open hours to discuss your donation. Donations may be brought to our Center during open hours. Pickup service may be available for larger donations.
Types of Materials CRP Accepts
Creative Reuse Pittsburgh takes materials: 1) that might ordinarily be discarded; 2) for which other good reuse outlets do not exist, and 3) that lend themselves to being reused in creative ways. This includes:

- office supplies
- stickers & self-adhesives
- buttons and notions
- promotional items
- art and craft supplies
- cut-offs & trim
- end-rolls
- containers
- overstock/surplus
- production mistakes/seconds
- doohickeys & widgets
- signs
- spools
- unique packing material
- cones and tubes
- magnets
- matte & poster board
- punch-outs
- fabric
- foam
- paper
Materials not typically accepted:
- clothes
- furniture
- building materials
- household recycling - food containers, cans, bottles
